Rava Kesari
This sweet is very easy to prepare. This is south Indian dessert.which is easiest sweet to prepare. We use Rava/Semolina with sugar and flavored with nuts and spices. in this dish.It is popular offering/ prasadam item found during Satyanarayana Pooja.
Ingredients
Rava (Soojii) 1cup
Sugar 2cups
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Kesari powder 1 pinch
Ghee 3tablesp
Milk 2cups
Cashew nuts few..
Method
Sugar 2cups

Method
Heat a pan with one tsp ghee and fry till it become golden.
Roast the cashew nuts. Heat a pan with two cups of milk.
When the milk boils, add rava slowly and stir it well without lumps.
When the rava is cooked, add sugar, kesari powder and remaining ghee.
When it becomes thick add cashew nuts and cardamom powder
Remove from the flame and keep in bowl..
